Unbelievable as it may sound, Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” appeared in German bookshops again after 70 years. The new edition of the notorious partly-autobiographical manifesto exceeded expectations and sold out almost immediately.
One can only wonder why such a document should see the light again after Hitler’s policies shocked the world with its brutalities that led to the systematic killing of millions of Jews as if we don’t have enough violence around the world to deal with. The demand for the book is so high that one was offered for resale at US$10,800.
