Stability in an unstable world

Our economies on a global perspective are in a terminal decline, falling down the stairs that will hurt badly when the bottom is reached. The Central Banks that are trying to prop up the economies have reached a level of huge distortions that is terminal, and ineffective. The economic statistics are coming out and are falling off a cliff while the stock markets go up and rise triple digits on the bad news. This has been going on for the last several years. If a reality check were to be made, one would see that things are worse than ever; history is being made; future generations will look back and exclaim ‘what were they thinking?’ The money velocity, which is the rate at which money is moving through the economy is virtually at a stand still while the Central Bank money that is being printed or digitized does not help anyone, except that it goes directly from the banks into the stock market, inflating a bubble that is bigger than an over-expanded balloon because they themselves are speculating with the free zero percent interest rate money made available, rather than lending it out to entrepreneurs. An illusion has been created with the bond markets ready to blow up and prove very devastating. The financial pundits who are on the main stream media are trying to sell you on the fact that all is fantastic and the markets are set to rise higher than ever, based on news that is more negative than ever before, because the spin doctors are twisting all information to suit the ones that benefit by the propaganda. Yes, and tomorrow you may read the news pointing you in the opposite direction. Confusing? I would say so. There is so much conflicting information on hand to hear and read so that what was published yesterday is already forgotten today due to the confusion. We’re in an experiment that the powers that be, and World Central Banks have set into motion. All this is unstoppable at this point without a major reset of the entire system, with no one capable of realization of what the outcome can be. We have never been here before.

Everything these days is working opposite to what it should. So much is wrong. I don’t want to say so, but the majority of people have been deceived to believe that things are going well politically and economically, even though we live in a day of the biggest fiascos and manipulations that have ever been created. Politically our world leaders and potential leaders in North America are corrupted more than ever before; making the previous political and national scandals look like a walk in the park when compared to today’s situations which are  heavily suppressed from public scrutiny by the main stream media.

What I am saying may all sound very negative, but not contrary to the way that we have been told by the Lord Himself, who told us to not be deceived by all the false things appearing to be reality.

What used to be right is obviously wrong these days. What used to be wrong has turned into social acceptance, secular truth, and right in the eyes and thoughts of society.

Even taking simple situations like standing  up to someone to say that their moral behavior in a particular instance is not acceptable in the neighbourhood and must be changed, leads to being accused by them, ‘you are shouting at me’, or ‘ you are not respecting my opinion’.

To ask someone to move their car because they are parking in a parking space that belongs to another person has left me being corrected by the offending party; telling me that I am being rude for asking them to move, though as management in this situation I have the authority and right to do so.

In a world so twisted and confused, where one plus two equals five, we need to be able to cast our anchor into real ground so our ship does not get driven off course and adrift into unknown, uncharted waters where all sense of security is oblivious.

Though living in a world as such, we may not necessarily win battles nor feel grounded in an arena like this.

We as Christ Ones need to remember and know who we are in Him – in Christ. How else would we retain our right thinking and not get moved into wrong thinking. It is important to remain anchored in our arena of faith; the place where we can win every battle and be the overcomers that Jesus has made us to be, despite the hurts we are encountering along the way. I always take strength from the words that Jesus below:

I  have told you these things, so that in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you. John 16: 33 [Amplified translation]

It is critical that we maintain our stability in this life. We can do that as we walk knowing who we are and what we were made to be.

For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Ephesians 5:8,15,16 [New Living Translation]

God, our heavenly Father, has given to us a nature and ability to exist in a realm that the world knows nothing of. It is our stability in confusing, twisted and unstable times.

Chapters 1 and 2 of the letter to the Ephesians bears up well for us to read, study and take to heart in our deepest inner most being; to know who God has made us to be in Him; in Christ Jesus. God, who is rich in mercy because of His great love with which He loved us, has raised us all up together and made us to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. (According to Ephesians 1:3 and Ephesians2:4-6 NKJV)

As the world around us continues to change in its way, we will not be alarmed and diverted from our walk in God’s ways.

God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Hebrews 6: 17-19 [New Living Translation]
