Working through the gospel of John in our Simple Church meeting, starting at chapter 1. Jesus is God; He was there before the world began, and He participated in Creation. He lives from eternity past to eternity future. He became a man like us in order to save us — the sinless One took our sin upon Himself and received the death penalty for it so that we could walk away free.
