The new birth is not saying the sinners prayer that works like a password or pin number that gives you access to eternal life. The new birth is a process of repentance — of turning around from running away from God, and running toward Him. It is what the prodigal son did when he realized that life with his father was better than without him. Our Simple Church meeting discussed the important role of the mind in our walk with God. We ended our meeting with Communion.
