News of muslims that turn to Christianity continues to make headlines everywhere. More and more muslim immigrants in Europe find their way to Christian churches where they request baptisms and testify of life-changing experiences with the Lord Jesus Christ. Many of them, also in other parts of the world, saw visions in which Jesus appeared to them, while others responded to the gospel message heard in their host countries. Some mention the treatment they received from fellow muslims as the reason for their leaving Islam.
Needless to say, their change of heart is not received well by those that remain faithful to their old religion. Persecution has immediately become part of the new Christians’ lives. “I’ve been spat on, told that I’ve betrayed Islam. But through what I’ve learned, I can forgive them,” one man who was recently baptized a Christian told RT in Hamburg.
